Privacy Policy

Khaka ("we", "us", "our") is an AI-native hardware toolchain operated by its founders. You can reach us at hello@trykhaka.com.

We collect only your email address when you submit the waitlist form on this website. We do not collect your name, phone number, payment details, or any other personal data through the waitlist.

We do not use tracking cookies, third-party analytics, or advertising pixels on this site.

Your email address is collected for one purpose only: to notify you when early access to Khaka opens. We will not use it to send unsolicited marketing, sell products, or contact you for any unrelated purpose.

The legal basis for processing your data (under GDPR and equivalent laws) is your freely given consent, provided when you submit the form.

Submitted email addresses are stored in two places:

• Our server — a private JSON file on our hosting infrastructure, accessible only to Khaka founders.
• Google Forms / Google Sheets — responses are forwarded to a private Google Form. Google processes this data under their own privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. Google does not use your data for advertising through this route.

Both stores are private and access-controlled. We do not publish, sell, rent, or share your email address with any third party beyond Google Forms as described above.

We retain your email address until one of the following occurs:

• Khaka launches publicly and waitlist management is no longer needed;
• You request deletion (see Section 6); or
• We determine the waitlist is no longer in use.

We will not retain your data for longer than necessary.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights over your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure — request that we delete your email from our records.
• Withdrawal of consent — you may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect prior processing.
• Complaint — you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@trykhaka.comwith the subject line "Privacy Request". We will respond within 7 days.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your email address from unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. Access to our server and Google Workspace is restricted to Khaka founders only and protected by strong authentication.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

This service is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 where required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the waitlist after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
